Northern Province Lecture to go online

The second Northern Province lecture in the 2020 series is to be given by Bishop Helen-Ann Hartley on “Law and life in the Anglican Communion” on 25 June at 5:30pm.

Due to the present circumstances, we are intending for this lecture to take place online, using Zoom or equivalent technology, rather than in person as originally planned. This will be the Society’s first live online lecture. Though this is being forced upon us by circumstances, there are certain benefits. The use of videoconferencing technology will allow ELS members from all over the world to attend and to ask questions. We will be interested in members’ feedback, and how we might make further use of this technology in the future.

It is hoped that a recording of the lecture will be made available on Youtube after the event.

Booking through the website closes 48 hours before the event (or when the event is full). 24 hours before the event, invitations will be sent out by email to those who have booked with instructions explaining how to join the lecture.
