Lyndwood Lecture 2018

The biennial Lyndwood Lecture, which is organised alternately by the Ecclesiastical Law Society and the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland, is to be held on Wednesday 7 November 2018 at 6.30 pm at the Temple Church, Fleet Street, London EC4, when Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch Kt DD FBA will give a lecture entitled, Richard Hooker (1554-1600): Invention and Reinvention.

The event will be preceded by Choral Evensong at 5.30 pm and followed by a drinks reception.

The ELS organizes a programme of lectures, conferences, and canon law education events.

Ecclesiastical Law Journal

Published three times a year by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the Ecclesiastical Law Society, the Journal publishes articles on all aspects of ecclesiastical law.

Membership

Members receive the Ecclesiastical Law Journal and are eligible to attend the Society’s conferences and other events.

2018 Day Conference: Gospel and Law in Theological Education

The Ecclesiastical Law Society is holding its Day Conference at the St Bride Foundation, Fleet Street on 17th March 2018. The Conference will focus on promoting education in ecclesiastical law.
