Pemberton v Inwood [2018] EWCA Civ 564

Canon Jeremy Pemberton has lost his latest appeal against the revocation of his Permission to Officiate within the Diocese by the then Acting Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham and the refusal to grant him an Extra Parochial Ministry Licence so that he could take up the post of Chaplaincy and Bereavement Manager with the Sherwood Hospitals NHS Trust.

Northern Province Lectures launched

A new series of Northern Province Lectures has been announced for 2018. Speakers include Sir Mark Hedley, Deputy President of the Clergy Discipline Tribunal; Mark Hill QC, ELS chairman and Chancellor of the Diocese of Leeds; and Sir Philip Mawer, former Independent Reviewer.
