Patronage and Vacancies in the Church of England in the 21st century

This online event will include four speakers on the topic of “Patronage and Vacancies in the Church of England in the 21st century”:

• Moira Astin (Archdeacon of Reigate) – The history of Patronage
• Helen Dimmock (Head of Appointments and Ecclesiastical Secretary to the Crown and the Lord Chancellor, Cabinet Office) – Being a Patron in a Vacancy
• Frank Curtiss – Being a church warden working with patrons
• Charlotte Manley (St George’s, Windsor) – Patrons are not just for vacancies.

The evening will conclude with questions. This webinar is organized by the training committee of the ELS. Please note there will be a limited number of places for this webinar to keep questions and discussion productive:- when this number is reached bookings will close.
