The Grosvenor Chapel

We regret to inform you that the London Lecture to be given by Patti Russell has been postponed. Because of the tube strike, it became clear that few of those who had booked would not be able to attend. We plan to announce a new date in the very near future, and details will be posted here.
Patti Russell is a partner at Winckworth Sherwood and Diocesan Registrar of the Diocese of Canterbury and the Diocese of Rochester. She will be speaking on “Justified or condemned by their words?” – a look at the law on free speech, discrimination and expression of religious belief.
The lecture is free of charge but spaces are limited and prior booking is essential, using the form below. Booking through the website closes 24 hours before the event (or when the event is full) but please contact the Communications Officer on communications@ecclawsoc.org.uk for late availability requests. This lecture is open to members and non-members.
The location of the lecture is the Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street, Mayfair, London W1K 2PA. This lecture will not be livestreamed. Nearest Underground stations: Bond Street, Green Park. Buses: 2, 16, 36, 73, 82, 148, 414, 436. The lecture will begin at 6pm.
If you find you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking to make the space available for someone else. You can cancel on this page if you are a member logged in to your account, or by emailing communications@ecclawsoc.org.uk.
The ELS is grateful to Birketts LLP for their sponsorship of the 2025 London lectures.
This event is fully booked.
