Accidents of Ecclesiastical Governance: Past, Present and Future?
The Ecclesiastical Law Society Day Conference will take place on Saturday 2 April 2022 in London, at St Alban’s Church, Holborn. The subject will be ‘Accidents of Ecclesiastical Governance: Past, Present and Future?’
Speakers at the conference will include Professor Norman Doe, the Rt Revd Pete Broadbent, the Revd Canon Professor Alison Milbank and the Rt Revd Christopher Hill.
The Annual General Meeting of the Society will take place during the day, and the conference will end with Evensong at 4pm in the church.
The ticket price includes morning tea/coffee and lunch.
Location
The day conference will take place at St Alban’s Centre, next to St Alban’s Church, Holborn. The Centre access, on Baldwin’s Gardens, is step-free. The nearest tube station is Chancery Lane (look for Exit 2), but the church is also near Farringdon, both for tube and rail, and is well-served by bus routes, and numbers 8, 17, 25, 45, 46, 242, 521 all stop on Holborn itself.

Terms: Bookings will remain open until all tickets are sold or 9am Wednesday 30 March at the latest. If you cancel within 14 days of booking, you are entitled to a 100% refund. Contact finance@ecclawsoc.org.uk concerning refunds. If we have to move the event online, e.g. because of COVID, refunds will be available for all tickets.
