ELS treasurer Moira Astin appointed Bishop of Crediton

It was announced today that His Majesty the King has approved the nomination of the Ven Moira Astin, Archdeacon of Reigate, to the Suffragan See of Crediton in the Diocese of Exeter.

Members will be delighted to hear this news and to offer their congratulations. As Moira is treasurer of the ELS and a trustee of the charity, we know of the very many gifts she has to offer and are delighted that she has been called to serve the Church as Bishop of Crediton. We will be holding Moira in our prayers as she approaches her episcopal consecration.
